Puremagnetik has released Devil07, which is an emulation of the classic Roland TR-707 drum machine as upgraded by Diabolical Devices. It is available for Ableton Live 8, Kontakt 4, Renoise 2.7 and Logic 9.

Devil07 is a classic Roland TR-707 drum machine instrument and much, much more! It is a re-programming of the Diabolical Devices modification that augments the TR-707 with limitless sound potential. With close to 600 individual samples, and 21 banks of sounds, Devil07 will take you to places that the original 707 could never come close to.

The TR-707 used for this library was completely upgraded by master circuit bending technician Diabolical Devices. Using a system of patches and switches, each “bent” sound was explored and all of its expressions captured with high resolution a/d conversion. The library includes a collection of “Mechanical”, “Bitpitched”, “Shorted” and “Rusted” sounds all categorized into individual banks.

The Ableton Live version is a standalone Live Rack. It has been programmed to deliver a seamless instrument experience with easily tweakable expression and voicing parameters.

He has created visual effects for films such as "Clash of the Titans", "Salt", "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", "Surrogates", "Terminator Salvation", "Star Trek", "Iron Man" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ". Dinur is a true Vue veteran, and has been using the app extensively since version 2 in numerous projects. He has written Vue tutorials for various publications, including 3D World Magazine (for which he is a regular contributor), and has created many sample scenes for Vue xStream, Infinite and Esprit.
